Have a day filled with.... love!

Hi Everyone!

I made my first Close To My Heart Project! Just a random card I made with the Stella Workshop On The Go.

I also made a set of 6 note cards with a coordinating box :)

The Butterfly was cut out from the Art Philosophy catridge and the stampset is from the Art Philosphy pack. I'm looking forward to making more card sets - they'd be a great gift :)

Disney Princess Dress Note Cards!! ... and a BIG announcement!

Hi Everyone!

So... my Disney Princess - Happily Every After Cricut catridge came Wednesday and I finally got a chance to play with it today!

I made princess dresses!!!

And what exactly am I doing with these princess dresses?!?

... Making note cards to sell on Etsy! These would be perfect for a little hello, thanks, birthday, invitation... pretty much anything for the Disney Princess lover (e.g. me!)

I can't wait to have more fun with this cartridge!!

Oh and for those of you who were interested in how the Batman cake turned out... I present:

Didn't turn out too bad! The icing finally dried BLACK (not green, not purple.... black!!) I think it looks pretty cool :)

Now... for the moment we've all been waiting for (... lol not really)... but here is my BIG announcement:

I am now an Independent Consultant for Close To My Heart!

So if you're interested in learning more about any type of paper craft.... let me know! I'm working on scheduling some gatherings for those of you interested in CTMH's awesome products!

First Etsy Order!

I sold my first batch of cards on Etsy!!! It was exactly one week ago I got not 1 but 2 requests to make Bridal Shower Thank You Cards (and in total I was looking at making 90!!!) I was super excited! The ladies at work were even more excited than I was! ...but luckily things simmered down and I got 1 order for 15 cards :) (much more doable in a couple of days).

Voila, they're all ready to be shipped to Illinois tomorrow!

I'm still patiently waiting for my From My Kitchen Catridge to arrive in the mail.... so I can continue working on my recipe book :) And I also got super lucky and scored the Disney Happily Ever After catridge off ebay for a decent price (especially now that it is discontinued....) and I have so many fun ideas to share with you once I get my hands on that one!!

Anyways, I'm done creating cards for a couple days... but doesn't mean I won't be creating! Here's a sneak peek of what I'm working on :)

BATMAN!!!!!!

Not quite sure why there are silver streaks in my black icing... but I am proud that it's no longer green and it appears to be black!!! lol Who would've thought black icing was actually THAT hard to colour? Sheesh.

Anyways... it's the boyfriend's birthday in a couple of days... so I'm making him a special treat!

That's it for now peeps... but I will leave you with this:

I will be making a 'big' announcement in the next week or so... so stay tuned!!

Sugar & Spice Recipe Mini Album - WIP: Step 1

Hi!!

I haven't made any cards lately but I've been browsing the internet a lot for inspiration and stumbled across recipe mini books.... and I'm in love with the idea of making one :) I recently made my first trip to Michaels (since I was 10 years old) and let's just say... it was disappointing. It's not as far as I thought, seems pretty convenient to get to but the prices for somethings was insane! I did get some deals and more paper (more paper!!!). I got a pack of DCWV Sweet paper which has glittery cupcake, yummylicious-looking sheets... so I am starting a recipe book to keep all my cake, chocolate and other goodies recipes.

Tonight I chose 12 papers and made some pockets on each (to hold the recipe cards). Here's some work in progress so far:

This project is probably going to take me a while since I want to embellish all the pages with cricut cuts.... and I really want to use the "From My Kitchen" Cricut cartridge, but I have yet to purchase it.

Oooooh, I also made a chocolate bar to embellish one of the pages:

Each 'piece' of chocolate is a 1x1 inch square, embossed with the Cuttlebug and is popped up on foam for some dimension.... it looks soooooo yummy!

Anyways, that's my update for today. I hope you look forward to reading more about my work in progress and finally seeing the masterpiece!
